Comments: This grass is an annual, growing spontaneously in our bulb section. In the Netherlands it is a rare species, occurring in the South of Limburg, in Zeeland, and in urban areas, on open, dry, stony, lime-rich ground. It is strictly forbidden to weed this grass away, as it creates just the right Mediterranean atmosphere during dry and hot summer days.
